Akilah A. Bacy, founder of BACY LAW PLLC, is a Houston native, former felony prosecutor, and a brilliant trial attorney with nearly a decade of courtroom experience. She has earned a reputation for her sharp legal acumen, compassionate advocacy, and unwavering commitment to justice.

Attorney Bacy is a proud alumna of Spelman College, one of the nation’s most prestigious historically Black colleges and universities. She is also a dedicated member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, where she continues her lifelong commitment to service and leadership.

Her professional involvement reflects her deep engagement with the Houston legal community. She served as the Criminal Co-Chair of the Houston Lawyers Association and is an active member of the Harris County Democratic Lawyers Association.
